The Washington County Historical Society is a 501 (c)3 organization who's only means of support is through the generosity of people in the community that understand the importance of protecting and preserving the rich history of Washington County, Florida.
With that being said, we want the museum to reflect the life and times of your ancestors, the people that made Washington County the place we all love to call home. We need the stories and artifacts, stuff that represents Washington County. The museum is in a new location, at the Farmers Market and Bill Lee Train Depot and with that comes opportunities for the museum to be bigger and better.
The museum will not reach its full potential without you. So, please check your attic, garage and the dark corners of the barn outback and see if you can help out. You can donate an item permanently to the museum or loan an item for display on a temporay basis. Listed below are items that the museum needs.
